OP_NET Airdrop
About OP_NET
OP_NET is a new metaprotocol built to work seamlessly with Bitcoin while operating outside the Ordinals envelope. It uses Tapscript to introduce a comprehensive set of smart contract capabilities directly on Bitcoin, effectively turning Bitcoin’s base-layer programmability into that of a smart contract blockchain. The protocol runs without requiring new Bitcoin Improvement Proposals (BIPs) and is currently live and publicly accessible on the Bitcoin testnet for developers and users to build, deploy, and interact with applications.
Why we choose OP_NET?
We picked OP_NET because it aims to significantly expand Bitcoin’s capabilities by adding smart contract functionality via Tapscript without any changes to the Bitcoin protocol through BIPs. By operating as a metaprotocol outside the Ordinals framework, it seeks to bridge the gap between Bitcoin and smart contract blockchains. Its live public testnet invites early builders and users to experiment, which may position participants for potential future incentives if a token is launched.

2. Download and install the OP_NET wallet following the provided instructions.
3. Set up your wallet and connect it to the Bitcoin testnet as guided on their site.
4. Use the OP_NET testnet to build, deploy, or interact with smart contract applications as available.
5. Next, visit the MotoSwap testnet page.
6. Connect your OP_NET (or compatible) wallet to MotoSwap’s testnet interface.
7. Perform swaps between available testnet assets on MotoSwap.
8. Optionally, add liquidity to MotoSwap’s testnet pools using your testnet assets.
9. Continue interacting periodically with both OP_NET and MotoSwap testnets to maintain on-chain activity, as users who interact with the testnet may be considered for any future token airdrop, though nothing is confirmed.
