Launched in January 2025 on Base, an Ethereum Layer-2 network, it lets users establish permanent, censorship-resistant digital identities without relying on centralized servers. Through features like “forever usernames” and “forever websites” hosted across a distributed node network, Portrait ensures users retain full control over their online presence, content, and data in line with a user-owned “New Internet” vision.

How to get Portrait Airdrop?
1. Prepare your wallet and funds:
– Get a Web3 wallet (e.g., MetaMask).
– Acquire some ETH on Ethereum mainnet.
– Bridge ETH to Base (e.g., using Rhino.fi) if you want to pay on Base.
2. Visit Portrait’s airdrop/points page:
– Go to the URL provided: portrait.so/airdropsio.
3. Create your Portrait account:
– Click the “Login” button in the bottom left corner.
– Choose to log in with your email or connect your Web3 wallet.
– If using a wallet, sign the requested transaction to verify ownership.
– Review and accept the Terms of Service.
4. Claim your Portrait (your onchain website/username):
– Choose a unique Portrait name; this becomes your permanent identifier.
– Click the “Claim” button.
– Review the purchase terms, tick the confirmation box, and select “Pay with ETH.”
– Pay the required fee (around 0.00593 ETH, payable on Base or Ethereum mainnet).
5. Customize your Portrait:
– After purchase, start editing your Portrait page.
– Add content, images, and links to build out your micro-website.
6. Connect social accounts for bonus points:
– Open the Points page on Portrait.
– Connect the same wallet you used to create your Portrait.
– Link your X (Twitter) account and email address to earn an extra 300 points.
– Add your Portrait link to your X bio to activate affiliate rewards.
7. Complete Galxe tasks:
– Follow the Galxe campaign linked by Portrait.
– Finish the listed tasks to earn additional Portrait points.
8. Earn points automatically by using the platform:
– Create and maintain your Portrait to receive base points.
– Regularly share work and update content on your Portrait.
– Host other users’ Portraits to support the network.
– If you’re technical, run a hosting node to earn more points.
9. Join community initiatives for extra rewards:
– Join the official Portrait Discord server.
– Help new users set up Portraits and troubleshoot issues.
– Share Portrait and your referral/Portrait link on social media to onboard new users.
– Create high-quality content that can be featured on the Explore page.
– Provide constructive feedback in Discord during the beta phase.
10. Stay updated:
