About ZeroFi
ZeroFi is a cross-chain bridging protocol that brings non-EVM assets like Bitcoin (BTC) and Monero (XMR) into Ethereum and other EVM-compatible DeFi ecosystems. It works by wrapping these native assets into ERC-20 representations called zAssets, which are designed to be 1:1 backed and convertible with the underlying coins. This allows holders of assets such as XMR to access lending, borrowing, trading, and liquidity provision on Ethereum without needing to sell or relinquish their original tokens.
Why we choose ZeroFi?
We picked ZeroFi because it targets a clear gap in DeFi: large amounts of value locked in non-EVM assets like BTC and XMR that cannot easily interact with Ethereum-based protocols. By offering a non-custodial bridge that wraps these assets into ERC-20 zAssets, ZeroFi aims to unlock this dormant liquidity. The project is still in testnet with no token launched yet, and an announced ZFI distribution plan puts additional focus on early usage and community incentives.

How to get ZeroFi Airdrop?
1. Set up a wallet and get Sepolia test ETH
– Install and configure a browser wallet (Rabby is recommended).
– Visit a Sepolia faucet and request Sepolia test ETH to your Rabby wallet address for gas fees.
2. Get Monero (XMR) via Cake Wallet
– Download and install Cake Wallet on your mobile device (or macOS).
– Inside Cake Wallet, create both an ETH wallet and an XMR wallet.
– Buy a small amount of ETH on Binance (or another exchange) and withdraw it to your Cake Wallet ETH address.
– In Cake Wallet, copy your XMR wallet address.
– Switch to your ETH wallet in Cake, tap on “Swap”, select ETH → XMR.
– Paste your XMR address, enter the desired ETH amount, and confirm the swap.
– Wait until the XMR arrives in your Cake Wallet XMR address.
3. Add zXMR as a custom token in Rabby
– Open your Rabby browser wallet.
– Go to “Custom Networks” and then select “Token”.
– Add zXMR using this contract address: 0x0150614896eea01ce6Cb09C63B09d65fFf810A43.
4. Wrap XMR to zXMR using ZeroFi
– Navigate to the ZeroFi bridge dApp in your browser.
– Connect your Rabby wallet when prompted.
– In the bridge interface, choose XMR as the source asset and zXMR as the destination asset.
– Enter your Ethereum (Rabby) wallet address as the recipient.
– Click “Initialize Bridge” and wait for ZeroFi to generate an XMR deposit address.
– In Cake Wallet, send a small amount of XMR (no more than 0.001 XMR recommended) to the provided deposit address.
– Wait for the bridge to process the transaction; your wrapped zXMR should appear in your Rabby wallet under the zXMR token.
5. Unwrap zXMR back to XMR
– On the ZeroFi bridge, select zXMR as the source asset and XMR as the destination.
– Specify the amount of zXMR you want to unwrap.
– Confirm the transaction in your Rabby wallet to send zXMR back through the bridge.
– After processing, the corresponding XMR should be delivered to the Monero address you provide (or the one configured in the interface).
6. Repeat bridge transactions to increase activity
– Perform several cycles of wrapping XMR to zXMR and unwrapping zXMR back to XMR.
– Vary amounts and repeat interactions to build a history of testnet activity.
– Continue using the bridge during the testnet phase and, later, during the early beta stage of mainnet to strengthen eligibility for the announced ZFI airdrop.
7. Stay informed about airdrop specifics
– Monitor ZeroFi’s official channels for updates on ZFI token launch, claim dates, exact airdrop criteria, and any snapshots.
– Keep records of your bridge transactions in case they are useful for verification or future eligibility checks.
